# 아프리카지역연맹 Central Zone, 브라자빌서 첫 Youth Forum 개최

*콩고공화국·콩고민주공화국·카메룬 청년 3인 대표 선출… 제2차 Central Zone Conference와 연달아 열려*

아프리카지역연맹 Central Zone이 2026년 8월 26일부터 28일까지 콩고공화국 브라자빌에서 첫 Central Zone Youth Forum을 열었다고 아프리카지역사무국이 31일(현지 기준) 밝혔다.

아프리카지역연맹은 Eastern Africa Zone, Indian Ocean Zone, Southern Africa Zone, Central Zone, West Africa Zone 등 다섯 Zone으로 나뉘며, 각 Zone은 아프리카지역사무국의 zonal desk officer와 Africa Scout Committee liaison members가 함께 지원한다. 이번 행사는 그중 Central Zone에서 청소년 리더십과 의사결정 참여를 넓히기 위한 첫 Youth Forum이다.

포럼 참가자들은 Zone을 대표할 청년 리더 3명을 선출했다.

- Chair: Ngamboula Drichnel Rode (콩고공화국)
- Vice-Chair: Balanda Mbangu Urbin (콩고민주공화국)
- Secretary: Nkwemou Ngon Carla Lynsay (카메룬)

이어 같은 브라자빌에서 8월 28일부터 30일까지 제2차 Central Zone Conference가 열렸다. Youth Forum과 Conference는 모두 「United to strengthen Scouting in Central Africa」(중부아프리카에서 스카우트를 더 강하게 하기 위해 함께)를 주제로 진행됐다.

아프리카지역사무국은 두 모임이 Central Zone 안 협력과 청소년 참여를 강화하고, 회원국(NSO)이 스카우트 프로그램을 더 충실히 운영할 역량을 키우는 계기가 됐다고 설명했다.
